Introduction:
I am a Mechanical Engineer with over three years’ professional experiences. I currently work
as a researcher at Lancaster University. I was always interested to learn new software that why
I chose the subject of my MSc dissertation in a way that enabled me to work in
experimental research and finite element analysis. I have made my first tutorial for UDEMY
based on my knowledge that I got during my master course in the field of composite material

Now two years after starting my PhD, I feel confident to make Tutorial this time for ABAQUS
software in the area of adhesive and composite material. The concept of light weighting is a
hot research topic in the manufacturing sector. One of the most effective methods of achieving
lightweight is to use advanced lightweight materials instead of conventional materials. Among
commonly available joining technologies, the use of adhesive joints attracts most attention due
to their advantages of enabling the development of lightweight, cost-effective and five highly
integrated structures with more uniform load distribution and improved damage tolerance.
